About the event
Our first Film in the Field Festival concludes with a very special screening of Cinema Paradiso (1988) , presented outdoors on 35mm film beneath the stars.
A heartfelt love letter to cinema itself, Cinema Paradiso tells the story of Salvatore, a successful filmmaker reflecting on his childhood friendship with the projectionist at his local village cinema in Sicily. Emotional, nostalgic and deeply connected to the communal experience of filmgoing, it provides the perfect closing night for our festival.
