About the event

About the Film:

Following the success of The Italian Job last season, we couldn’t resist bringing back another Michael Caine classic. The Ipcress File is a stylish, gritty slice of 1960s espionage, with Caine as the unforgettable Harry Palmer. On a a rare original 35mm print, the Cold War shadows and tension come alive in the flicker of real film. A must for fans of spy cinema and one of Britain’s coolest leading men.

Our screenings start at 7pm sharp and we don’t run adverts or trailers, so we recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early. This gives you plenty of time to find a seat (all seating is first come, first served) and enjoy a drink from the bar before the show begins.

Halfway through the film we take a short intermission while the film reels are changed over. It’s the perfect chance to discuss the film so far, top up…
